Do you do any work on spec?
Not usually. While we have occasionally accepted an
on-spec assignment if the project was highly prestigious or carried some
other side-benefit, this is far more the exception than the norm. We
realize that businesses are often hesitant to hire copywriters with whom
they're unfamiliar, but by the same token, we obviously can't afford to
work for free. Any on-spec assignment we do take is subject to a 50% kill
fee. Do you offer graphic design or mailing services?
Indirectly, yes. We have an affiliation with
Champion Printing in
Michigan, which does
graphic layout & design work, direct mail, and
printing. Additionally, we occasionally contract out to several other
freelance graphic artists. |
