Qualifications of in-house personnel

Daniel Park (German English)

Daniel holds a Master of Arts degree in German from Michigan State University, where he taught beginning- and intermediate-level German for three years. He also lived in Germany for 1.5 years.

Daniel has passed the Goethe Institut's Zentrale Oberstufenprüfung. The ZOP is honored by most professions as a certificate of qualified proficiency in the German language. At German universities, holders of a ZOP are not required to take a university entrance exam in language proficiency.

Daniel has translated numerous written documents, from legal affidavits to technical documents to works of literature (even a full-length play).

María José Álvarez Torres (Spanish English), (English Spanish)

María José holds two Master of Arts degrees from Michigan State University: one in Spanish, and one in TESOL (Teaching English to Speaker of Other Languages). Originally from Spain, she has lived in the United States for seven years. María José has passed the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language).

She has translated technical specifications, contracts, and various other legal documents.
