dappertext is a limited liability company wholly owned and operated by Daniel Park. It employs two additional part-time staff members. In an effort to provide a total solution for its clients, dappertext also partners with numerous graphic artists, print houses, translators, and voice actors from around the world.

At dappertext, we’re committed to being a “best of breed” service provider for training and marketing content, both in text and video formats. We offer fully customized service for each of our clients – if you have a need that isn’t addressed by the pages of this web site, just ask! It’s likely that we, along with the support of our partner network, will be able to offer a solution.

About Daniel Park

dappertext was founded by Daniel Park, who has an extensive background in training, marketing, and multimedia design. After earning a BA in Theatre & Interpretation from Central Michigan University, he went on to teach German at Michigan State University, eventually earning his MA in German there.

After a brief stint as a freelance web and multimedia designer, he moved on to Automation Resource Corporation, performing software-related consulting, technical writing, and corporate training services for numerous clients. He then joined TechSmith Corporation in 2000, the software company that has produces the outstanding screen- and video-capture tools SnagIt and Camtasia Studio. At TechSmith, Daniel served as TechSmith’s “video creation guru,” making countless marketing and tutorial videos with Camtasia Studio. Other roles Daniel performed at TechSmith include international development and product marketing management.

He left TechSmith in 2003 to form dappertext LLC.
